This book is enormous! When I read reviews I saw that it was big... I just didn't realize how big is truly would be! I had hoped for a slightly smaller book for my less than 1 year old.
I received this book from a free bin. The text does not expand on the pictures in the book. For instance, Spot was in the backyard about to pick a yellow flower for his mom. All the text included was "Spot had something special to get" or some other nonsense. What's with no title on the outside of the book as well.
As far as I know, my grandson enjoyed hearing the story read aloud. He is only 20 monthes so he couldn't voice an opinion.
